Discussing his disappointment in life and her dedication to him, noting "a woman like me, would be very queer indeed, if she would not be willing to let the blood out of her arm into yours, to save your life if need be." Inviting him to call, discussing his general dissatisfaction, and inviting him to vacation at her farm. With a postscript affirming her belief in Christ.
